Freiheitliche fordern ideologiefreien Gesamtkostenvergleich statt grüner Milchmädchenrechnung

„Die Behauptung, Österreich würde sich durch den Verzicht auf fossile Energieträger jährlich zehn bis zwölf Milliarden Euro ersparen, ist eine klassische Milchmädchenrechnung. Stadtwerke-Chef Peter Weinelt rechnet die Kosten für Gas, Benzin und Diesel vor, verschweigt aber, was die von ihm geforderte Energiewende tatsächlich kostet“, kritisierten heute die FPÖ-Energiesprecher auf Landes- und Bundesebene, LAbg. Klemens Resch und NAbg. Paul Hammerl.

„Windstrom ist unter Einrechnung aller notwendigen Gesamtkosten etwa dreimal so teuer. Denn mit dem Bau eines Windrades ist es nicht getan. Bezahlt werden müssen der massive Ausbau des Stromnetzes, teure Speicher sowie jederzeit verfügbare Kraftwerke für jene Stunden und Tage, in denen weder Wind noch Sonne ausreichend Strom liefern. Ebenfalls muss man wissen, dass es in Österreich kein Windrad gibt, dass derzeit ohne Förderung betrieben wird. Dies noch dazu, wo wir immer noch einen dreimal so hohen Strompreis haben als früher. Wenn wir jetzt in Höchstpreiszeiten immer noch auf Technologien setzen, die ohne Förderung nicht kostendeckend produzieren können, werden wir auch in Zukunft keine niedrigeren Strompreise sehen“, erklärten die Freiheitlichen Energiesprecher auf Landes- und Bundesebene.

Besonders widersprüchlich sei, dass die Wiener Fernwärme derzeit noch zu rund 60 Prozent aus fossilem Gas erzeugt werde. „Die Wiener Stadtwerke wissen daher ganz genau, dass eine leistbare Wärmeversorgung nicht mit den politischen Wunschbildern funktioniert. Trotzdem wird den Menschen eingeredet, man könne Gas einfach abschaffen und dabei auch noch Milliarden sparen. Das ist unehrlich, zumal die Wiener Fernwärme schon jetzt etwa doppelt so teuer ist, wie jene in Wels oder Linz. Mit der Raus-aus-Gas-Strategie, werden die Fernwärmekosten aller Wiener weiter steigen“, so Resch und Hammerl.

Österreich brauche mehr Förderung von Gas aus den heimischen Lagerstätten, einen weiteren Ausbau von Wasserkraft und die sofortige Abschaffung der CO2 Kosten. Die politisch getriebene Energiewende dürfe nicht zu neuen Abhängigkeiten von wetterabhängiger Stromproduktion und teuren Erzeugungstechnologien führen.

„Die FPÖ fordert einen ideologiefreien Gesamtkostenblick. Verglichen werden müssen nicht nur einzelne Erzeugungskosten, sondern die Gesamtkosten für das Energiesystem, einschließlich Stromnetze, Speicher, Reservekraftwerke und Versorgungssicherheit. Wer diese Kosten ausblendet, betreibt keine seriöse Energiepolitik, sondern macht den Menschen etwas vor“, betonten Resch und Hammerl abschließend.

Zwei Gold Awards für das Förderprojekt „Falco goes school“ der Falco Privatstiftung beim internationalen CRESCENDO Festival in Hanoi

Ein Zufall wurde zum Beginn einer außergewöhnlichen Erfolgsgeschichte: Die 16-jährige Linzerin CHRISTINA SHAMIYEH besuchte als großer Falco-Fan achtmal das Musical _Rock Me Amadeus_. Dann konnte sie ihre Mutter zu einem Besuch der Falco Villa ( www.falcovilla.at )überreden. Als dort im Rahmen einer Führung bekannt wurde, dass Christina Musicals singt, hat man sie spontan gebeten, einen Song zu präsentieren. Zufällig war auch WOLFGANG KOSMATA, Manager von Österreichs größtem Talentwettbewerb für Schülerinnen und Schüler „HELDEN VON HEUTE – FALCO GOES SCHOOL“ anwesend und hat ihr großes Talent erkannt.

Nur wenige Monate später stand Christina bereits auf einer der bedeutendsten internationalen Nachwuchsbühnen Asiens. Beim CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL & COMPETITION in Hanoi überzeugte sie mit ihrer Interpretation von „RISE LIKE A PHOENIX“ und wurde mit dem GOLD AWARD ausgezeichnet.

Doch damit nicht genug.

Aus hunderten Sängerinnen und Sängern wurde sie zusätzlich ausgewählt, Österreich bei der „CRESCENDO – HANOI CONCERT NIGHT“ zu vertreten. Gemeinsam mit dem Sänger NGUYỄN HỮU QUÂN interpretierte sie „HELLO VIETNAM“, ein Lied mit besonderer emotionaler Bedeutung für das Gastgeberland. Vor internationalen Gästen aus Politik, Kultur und Wirtschaft – darunter Vertreter der vietnamesischen Regierung – begeisterte sie das Publikum. Beim großen Finale stand sie gemeinsam mit Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus aller Welt mit dem Michael Jackson-Hit „WE ARE THE WORLD“ auf der Bühne.“

Ebenfalls mit einem GOLD AWARD ausgezeichnet wurde CARMEN BINDER AUS DER STEIERMARK, die ebenfalls aus dem Förderprojekt „FALCO GOES SCHOOL“ stammt. Damit gingen gleich zwei Gold-Auszeichnungen an österreichische Nachwuchstalente.

_„Christina verbindet außergewöhnliche Bühnenpräsenz, Musikalität und Persönlichkeit. Gleichzeitig ist sie lernwillig, bodenständig und unglaublich vielseitig. Dass nun gleich zwei Talente aus unserem Förderprojekt international Gold gewinnen, macht uns besonders stolz“, sagt WOLFGANG KOSMATA._

Christina besucht die Adalbert-Stifter-Schule in Linz, tanzt Ballett, absolviert eine Musicalausbildung und ist bereits auf der Bühne des Linzer Musiktheaters zu erleben. Unter ihrem Künstlernamen CHEANNY gewann sie heuer außerdem mit ihrer Eigenkomposition „DROWNING IN MY TEARS“ den österreichischen Talentwettbewerb „HELDEN VON HEUTE – FALCO GOES SCHOOL“.

Das CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL & COMPETITION zählt zu den renommiertesten Nachwuchswettbewerben Asiens. Für die Finalrunden wurden heuer mehr als 1.300 TALENTE aus ganz Vietnam ausgewählt. Festivalpräsident ist der international renommierte Konzertpianist und Rektor der Musikakademie Modena, GIUSEPPE MODUGNO.

Das Förderprojekt „HELDEN VON HEUTE – FALCO GOES SCHOOL“ wird von der FALCO PRIVATSTIFTUNG finanziert und fördert junge musikalische Talente in ganz Österreich.

Juli mit „Dieser HADERER“, „Das NEINhorn von Marc-Uwe Kling und Astrid Henn“ und „Fem*flixt! Astrid Langer und Judith Lava“ neue Ausstellungen, die Generationen verbinden sowie neue Perspektiven auf Kunst und Humor eröffnen. Als Geschenk für die Besucher:innen gibt es den ganzen Tag freien Eintritt und ein abwechslungsreiches Programm. Ein Family Factory Spezial, das Bilderbuchkino mit Lesung zum NEINhorn, die Signierstunde mit Gerhard Haderer, Judith Lava sowie Astrid Langer und Führungen laden beim Eröffnungstag zum Mitfeiern ein.

75 JAHRE GERHARD HADERER

Zehn Jahre nach seiner letzten Einzelausstellung kehrt Gerhard Haderer (*1951, Leonding bei Linz) mit einer Jubiläumsschau ins Karikaturmuseum Krems zurück. Anlässlich Haderers 75. Geburtstags ehrt das Museum einen der bedeutendsten satirischen Zeichner im deutschsprachigen Raum. Die bisher umfassendste Würdigung von Haderers Schaffen präsentiert den Künstler als kompromisslosen Satiriker und gesellschaftlichen Aufdecker. Mit feiner Ironie und bitterer Komik entlarvt er die Absurditäten unserer Zeit – von digitaler Selbstverliebtheit bis zu politischer Heuchelei.

Originalzeich­nungen aus seinem kontroversen Buch „Das Leben des Jesus“ aus dem Bestand der Landessammlungen Niederösterreich_ _verdeutlichen Haderers kritischen Blick auf kirchliche Machtstruk­turen. Als Besonderheit reisen Besucher:innen mit seinen beeindruckenden fotorealistischen Ölgemälden durchs Jahr. Vom saftig grünen Wiesenstück über die Laubbläser im Herbst bis zu den winterlichen Schneebrunzern sind die Gemälde erstmals beinahe in ihrer Gesamtheit zu sehen. Mit der „Schule des Ungehorsams“_ _und dem „Kaktus Cartoon Award“_ _wird auch Haderers Engagement für künstlerischen Widerstand sichtbar.

DAS NEINHORN GALOPPIERT EIN

„NEIN!“ war noch nie so charmant! Das Karikaturmuseum Krems widmet dem Publikumsliebling „Das NEINhorn“ von Marc-Uwe Kling und Astrid Henn mit einer Familientour und einer Ausstellung – klein, aber oho! – einen Schwerpunkt. Familien erwartet ein vielfältiger Einblick in die im Carlsen Verlag erschienene Kinderbuchreihe: Gezeigt werden Texte und rund 30 Illustrationen aus den drei Büchern „Das NEINhorn“, „Das NEINhorn und der Geburtstag“ und „Das NEINhorn und die SchLANGEWEILE“. Farbige Vorzeichnungen und Schwarz-Weiß-Skizzen geben einen spannenden Einblick in den Entstehungsprozess der Kinderbücher.

Vielfältige Mitmach-Stationen laden dazu ein, in die fantasievolle Welt des NEINhorn einzutauchen. Vom gemütlichen Lesesofa, einer grünen Teppichwiese mit rosaroten Sitzfelsen über Hörbücher von Marc-Uwe Kling gelesen, die Herzwald-Wand zum Mitgestalten, das „Schleiterspiel“ im Großformat bis zum „Turm der totalen Tristesse“ entfaltet sich eine Erlebniswelt, in der Wortwitz, Kreativität und gemeinsames Entdecken im Mittelpunkt stehen.

FUN FEMINISM MIT ASTRID LANGER UND JUDITH LAVA

Mit der künstlerischen Zusammenarbeit „Fem*flixt!“ von Astrid Langer und Judith Lava knüpft ein ergänzender Exkurs an die satirische Gesellschaftskritik von Gerhard Haderer an und erweitert diese um aktuelle weibliche Perspektiven. Zwischen Einhornhorde, Zentaurin-Skulptur, rebellischer Dachziegl und Kunstfigur Lili eröffnen Langer und Lava überraschende Perspektiven auf Rollenbilder, Klischees und gesellschaftliche Erwartungen. Mit Humor, Selbstironie und Satire zeigen die beiden, dass Feminismus nicht belehrend sein muss, um zu wirken.

Vienna, 15 July 2026 – Long-term contract confirms Kontron
Transportation’s role as reliable technology partner for mission-critical
railway communications.

Kontron Transportation has once again extended an existing framework
agreement with an European railway operator. The contract covers the
annual commissioning of maintenance and security services through the end
of 2035, with an option to extend until 2040, thereby strengthening
Kontron Transportation’s role as a long-term technology partner for the
technological transformation of the future. With this significant contract
award, worth nearly 100 million euro, Kontron Transportation once again
underlines its comprehensive expertise in the provision and servicing of
mission-critical communication systems.

The company’s solutions are designed to meet the demanding requirements of
the railway sector and support operators in running their communication
infrastructures securely, reliably, and in a future-proof manner. To
maintain safe railway operations, short response and recovery times are
essential in the event of disruptions, particularly for core systems.
Years of experience have shown that Kontron Transportation’s extensive
specialist expertise makes a decisive contribution in this regard. Thanks
to fast remote access and in-depth expertise, critical disruptions can be

Wien, 15. Juli 2026 – Langfristvertrag bestätigt die Rolle von Kontron
Transportation als verlässlicher Technologiepartner für betriebskritische
Bahnkommunikation

Kontron Transportation konnte abermals mit einem europäischen
Bahnbetreiber einen bestehenden Rahmenvertrag verlängern. Dieser Vertrag
umfasst die jährliche Beauftragung von Wartungs- und Security-Leistungen
bis Ende 2035 mit der Option der Verlängerung bis 2040 und stärkt damit
die Rolle von Kontron Transportation als langfristiger Technologiepartner
für den technologischen Wandel der Zukunft. Mit diesem bedeutenden
Vertragsabschluss im Umfang von knapp 100 Millionen Euro unterstreicht
Kontron Transportation einmal mehr ihre umfassende Expertise in der
Bereitstellung und Servicierung betriebskritischer Kommunikationssysteme.

Die Lösungen des Unternehmens sind auf die hohen Anforderungen des
Bahnsektors ausgelegt und unterstützen Betreiber dabei,
Kommunikationsinfrastrukturen sicher, zuverlässig und zukunftsfähig zu

MULTIPRESS ECO macht Linzer Stadtquartier sauberer und effizienter

Mit der Eröffnung des QUADRILL in Linz, einem Immobilienprojekt der BODNER Gruppe, ist rund um die Tabakfabrik ein neues, modernes Stadtquartier entstanden. Der Nutzungsmix aus Büroflächen, Hotel, Wohnungen, Handel und Gastronomie bringt täglich unterschiedlichste Abfallmengen mit sich – und damit hohe Anforderungen an eine saubere, effiziente und nachvollziehbare Abfallentsorgung.

Das fertiggestellte Areal umfasst rund 3.000 m² Handelsflächen, davon etwa 1.000 m² für Gastronomie, 18.000 m² Büroflächen sowie 8.400 m² Wohnfläche. Markantes architektonisches Highlight ist der 109 Meter hohe QUADRILL Tower. Für die Entsorgung kommt dort der MULTIPRESS ECO von PÖTTINGER Entsorgungstechnik zum Einsatz – ein innovatives System, das Abfall direkt vor Ort sammelt, verdichtet und die eingebrachten Mengen transparent erfasst.

„Mit dem MULTIPRESS ECO zeigen wir, wie moderne Abfallentsorgung heute funktionieren kann: sauberer, effizienter und transparenter. Gerade in stark genutzten Stadtquartieren braucht es Lösungen, die den Alltag für Betreiber, Nutzerinnen und Nutzer sowie die Entsorgung spürbar erleichtern“, erklärt Dipl.-Ing. Maximilian Pöttinger, Geschäftsführer von PÖTTINGER Entsorgungstechnik.

Durch das geschlossene und kompakte System werden Abfälle geordnet gesammelt. Überfüllte Behälter, lose Abfälle rund um Sammelstellen und zusätzlicher Reinigungsaufwand können dadurch reduziert werden. Gleichzeitig sorgt die Verdichtung im Presscontainer dafür, dass größere Mengen aufgenommen werden können. Dadurch sind weniger Entleerungen und weniger Entsorgungsfahrten notwendig.

Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die transparente Abrechnung. Durch die integrierte Wiege- und Identtechnik können Abfallmengen nachvollziehbar erfasst und verursachergerecht zugeordnet werden. Im QUADRILL ermöglicht der MULTIPRESS ECO damit eine faire Abrechnung für unterschiedliche Nutzergruppen – von den Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern der insgesamt 175 Wohneinheiten über Hotel und Gastronomie bis hin zu Handel und weiteren gewerblichen Nutzungen.

Der Einsatz im QUADRILL zeigt, wie moderne Entsorgungstechnik in Gebäuden und Stadtquartieren umgesetzt werden kann. Der MULTIPRESS ECO ist bereits von Melbourne bis Dublin in vielen Städten und Gemeinden im Einsatz und steht für eine neue Generation kommunaler und urbaner Infrastruktur: weniger Reinigungsaufwand, weniger Transporte und mehr Transparenz bei der Abrechnung.
