3M puts the world on 100 percent renewable energy (PHOTO)

Neuss (ots) – multi-technology group joins global climate initiative RE100

After 3M has announced at the UN climate change conference in 2018, all of the new products on sustainability, it goes a step. The company’s own energy supply consistently on Eco-power, and will switch its plants and offices worldwide to renewable energy sources. At the same time, 3M global sustainability initiative RE100, which is committed to a future with a CO2-poor energy sources.

50 percent renewable energy by 2025

Due to the complete changeover to renewable electricity at the head office 3M increases its overall share of this energy form more than five percent to around 30 percent and can reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. 3M enters global climate and sustainability initiative

RE100 is a global economic initiative, under the leadership of The Climate Group in partnership with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). More efficiency for renewable energy
