Energy-provider exchange can annually save up to 842 euros

Energy price monitor for March 2019 – Big price differences in the Federal States comparison – The biggest savings are in the area of Klagenfurt.

Vienna (OTS) – The Federal Ministry of sustainability and tourism has published a monthly energy price monitor on the Basis of the calculations and surveys of the E-Control: Currently, the saving potential when switching from the regional standard providers to the lowest cost provider of electricity and Gas, depending on the Region between 342 € in Tyrol and up to 842 euros per year in Klagenfurt. Any change of supplier saves money and also provides for more competition in the domestic energy market. The exchange itself is quickly and uncomplicated possible.

For electricity Austria from give households an average of between 600 euros per year in the network area of Vorarlberg and 801 Euro per year in the network area of Carinthia. The potential savings from regional standard supplier to the cheapest provider is, depending on the Region between 109 Euro per year in Vorarlberg, as well as 205 Euro per year in upper Austria, including the network area of Linz. The Figures were calculated on the Basis of an average household electricity each year to 3,500 kilowatt-hours (kWh) in the regional standard provider.

For natural gas, households on average spend between 884 Euro per year in Vorarlberg and 1202 euros per year in the network area of Klagenfurt. The potential savings when changing from the default provider to the cheapest provider is, depending on the Region 232 Euro in the Tyrol, and 653 euros per year in Klagenfurt. Calculated these Figures on the Basis of a household that is related to 15,000 kWh at the regional default provider.
