Free Radios Austria – The other program for international women’s day on 8. March

The Free Radios in Austria seize the day with special programmes about sexual violence, Patriarchal role models and Eco discuss feminism

Vienna (OTS) – It was an Initiative of the socialist organizations in the struggle for equality on 19. In March 1911, fought for the emancipation of the workers and the right to vote for women. Since 1921, each year will be on 8. March, the world celebrates the International women’s day committed. Helga Schwarzwald, Director of the Association of Free Radios Austria: „Although the battle lasts already more than 100 years, we are still of an actual equality of women and men in our society are far away. The Free radio celebrate the international women’s day on 8. March always with the program.
