Vienna (OTS) – The Full-Service Leasing providers, Arval has around 7,000 employees in 29 countries. 2018, the global lease fleet, Arval grew to a total of 8.2 percent to 1.193.910 vehicles. The number of vehicles ordered rose compared to the previous year by 9 percent to 353.302 vehicles, the number of the sold lease vehicles remained to 2017 constant at 254.207.
The four core markets of the group recorded excellent growth figures, with France and the UK were at +5 percent, and Spain amounted to +19% and Italy +8%. Double-digit growth in the Benelux countries (+12%), southern Europe (+16%), Central Europe (+14%) and Scandinavia (+25%), recorded under other.
Arval was able to score in all segments of corporate customers, + 4 percent for large companies and in the public sector, as well as + 17 percent in the case of SMEs. International customers grew by over seven percent and now account for more than 25 percent of the total business.
Also the offers for private individuals, has rolled out Arval in the previous year. In a year, from 2017 to 2018, the private lease fleet to 45 percent. The lease fleet, Arval Austria rose in the year 2018 to plus 9 per cent; this is due to a satisfied existing customers and winning new customers.
