Green Hernals: Hernals intends Christine Nöstlinger and Frederic Morton

Park renaming in the 17th century. District on the Initiative of the Green

Vienna (OTS) – „On the Initiative of the Green Hernals is the Name of the native Hernalserin Christine Nöstlinger the 17. The district will receive, we are very pleased“ so Sepp Neustift, club Chairman of the Green Hernals. Together with the SP Hernals is renamed to the Green proposal after the death of the popular author of the Lidl-Park in Nöstlinger Park. At the same time, Pezzlpark is renamed Morton Park, SP and greens, have agreed in today’s district Council meeting.

Both Christine Nöstlinger as well as Frederic Morton grew up in Austria, spent her Childhood in inner-Hernals and went to school here. In their famous novels Hernals plays an important role, especially in the two well-known and like to read books „cockchafer, fly!“ by Christine Nöstlinger and the „Eternity’s end“ by Frederic Morton.
