Green Vienna: Peter Kraus unanimously elected to be the Chairman of the planning Committee

Vienna (OTS) – Council Peter Kraus of the Greens in Vienna, was elected early in unanimously to be the Chairman of the Council Committee for urban development, transport, climate protection, energy planning and citizen participation. „My goal is to ensure that in the coming months, with the new dedication category „subsidised housing“ for hundreds of Viennese affordable housing. Because the issue of affordable Housing is available for most Vienna on the inside in the first place.“

Another important focus is climate protection for Peter Kraus. „We have made with the new building code with the phase-out of Oil and Gas in new homes is a revolutionary step. This is now a reality, and to make Vienna a more sustainable and achieve our ambitious climate protection targets,“ says Kraus.
