
How about a look into the Austrian Federal Constitution?
SLÖ is in favour of ethics classes for all.
Vienna (OTS) – „A compulsory ethics class only as a substitute for the religious education falls short,“ says national Chairman Thomas Bulant in the SLÖ for decades, existing attitude. „The Austrian Constitution recognizes no religion, duty, but a freedom of religion. Therefore, it can take the place of the not constituted duty to Believe, no one else. Article 14, paragraph 5a, is called, however, democracy, humanity, solidarity, peace and justice as well as openness and tolerance towards the people as to values in life as a reason the Austrian school.” The SLÖ see, according to Bulant in an ethics class, for all the Chance that students are empowered in an ever more drifting apart of society, based on social, religious and moral values, to take responsibility for themselves, others, the environment and future generations.
„As human rights are indivisible, also has a the teaching of ethics for all of its importance, so that our students learn in dealing with Differences on the Basis of common values,“ Bulant the opinion of many head teachers and teachers.
