
Red Herring identifies Nexford University as a Top 100 Innovator for technology
Washington (ots/PRNewswire) – Nexford University, the Online University of the next Generation, announced today that it was included for its innovative use of technology, including data science and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve access to education for learners around the world, shortlisted for the prestigious Red Herring Top 100 North America Award.
The Washington-DC based Nexford University uses technology to enable a greater social and economic mobility and to give the learners access to a high-quality, affordable education with dynamic training methods which prepare them for the global world of work. In order to reach the shortlist, had to Nexford complete two rigorous review rounds and is now the only University in the 25 year history of the Awards that it is able to in the Short-List.
The Red Herring Top 100 North America Award recognizes the most innovative technology companies out of hundreds of companies in North America. The evaluation is carried out according to the criteria of disruptive and technological effects, proof of Efficacy, rate of growth and social value.

Nexford will present live in front of a Jury in in may in California to be held the final round of the Awards, then the announcement of the winner. Previous winners, companies such as Datanomic (Oracle), among others; Netbreeze (acquired by Microsoft); and Waze (purchased by Google).
