
CINDE is the signing of an agreement of the ICT and CINDE for the promotion of foreign direct investment for tourism infrastructure
San José, Costa Rica (ots/PRNewswire) – The Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT – tourism Institute of Costa Rica) will implement within the next five years, a new strategy to achieve, and the promotion of foreign investment projects in the tourism industry. This refers to the authenticity, values and cultural traditions of national communities. To achieve this goal, the ICT signed on Thursday an agreement with the Coalición Costarricense de Iniciativas de Desarrollo (CINDE – Agency for investment promotion of Costa Rica), a body of foreign specialized for the past 37 years, on attracting direct investment for Costa Rica.
– The cooperation agreement will have a five-year term.
– ICT and CINDE will work together to achieve investments.

In the course of the agreement, the ICT is committed to inform the CINDE on plans and work programmes, so that potential synergies can be identified. In addition, the parties will Know specific skills and experience in connection with the promotion of investment exchange.
The Institute will also initiate measures to make the recording in the project Ventanilla Única de Inversión (VUI – investments) a center of gravity. This controls PROCOMER, an Institution for the acceleration and facilitation of processes for the implementation of foreign investment projects in Costa Rica.
The CINDE is plans and strategies for the promotion of foreign direct investment (IED – Inversión Extranjera Directa) in tourism-formulate infrastructure and try to open up new sources of Investment, which is a key objective of the tourism infrastructure.
