Cities ranking: Vienna, defended the first place in Europe

Vienna (OTS/RK) – the readers of The American luxury and Lifestyle travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler voted Vienna’s best destination cities in Europe. In the global rankings of the „Best Big Cities“ occupied Vienna to Tokyo, Kyoto and Melbourne in fourth place.

Ornate, exquisite and of his musical and intellectual roots offers Vienna characterised by its profuse cultural offer, says the editors of the Condé Nast Traveler of the Austrian capital. A total of 429.000 readers of the luxury travel and Lifestyle specialist US travel magazine voted for the „Readers‘ Choice Awards“ on your favourite destinations, Hotels, and attractions worldwide. After many years in London and Paris topped the rankings of the „best cities in Europe“, was awarded in 2018, Vienna, as of 2017, with the first place. „The Condé Nast Traveler will not only in the U.S., Vienna’s strongest volume, remote market, read, but is regarded worldwide as one of the most prestigious industry media. The current Ranking is a meaningful Benchmark and to inspire amplified, on the other hand, the activities and messages of the Vienna holidays, luxury affinity and high-spending target groups for Vienna,“ said Director of Tourism Norbert Kettner on the occasion of the International tourism exchange (ITB) in Berlin.
