31. January 2019 arrests officials of the EGS in the hunter street-a 39-year-old and a 48-year-old Austrian citizen on suspicion of Burglary. The police conducted extensive investigations, where the 39-Year-old, at least 59 burglaries detected. By the collapse of companies in the Vienna municipality were affected mainly districts 19, 20 and 21 (also, some of the crime scenes in 9. and 12. District), where, in particular, cash from food and beverage vending machines, cash-on-Hand and electronic devices had been stolen. With the proceeds of the burglaries, the 39-Year-old who has no registered place of residence in Austria is likely to have financed his consumption of addictive substances.

The 48-year-old Arrested acted as an Accommodation provider for the 39-Year-old and left him in his apartment in hunter street. In addition, the man is suspected to have parts of the Diebesguts his roommate hide. The total damage caused is in excess of 50,000 euros. By the sales of the stolen items, the two arrested are expected to have achieved a revenue of at least EUR 300,000. The men were displayed on suspicion of burglary, theft and handling of stolen goods and are in custody.
