Private hospitals: 2.85 percent salary increase for the employees

Positive agreement in the fourth round of Negotiations

Vienna (OTS) – In the collective agreement negotiations for employees in the Austrian private clinics could be reached between the Association of Private hospitals and the trade Union vida in the fourth round of Negotiations, a mutually acceptable agreement. Mag. Stefan Günther, KV-negotiators and Secretary General of the Association of Private hospitals of Austria, with the positive conclusion to be satisfied: „All the private clinics in Austria, employees receive an increase of 2.85 per cent and on 24. and 31. December a whole free day to look forward to. In addition, the employees can take their Gutstunden due to the extension of the calculation period over a longer period of time.“ The new KV will be effective 1. April 2019.

After several hours of negotiations, employers and workers representatives in the fourth round of Negotiations on an outcome for the employees of the Private hospitals in Austria, an increase in collective agreement salary to 2.85 percent. Also, the extension of the due bill period, it was decided: So this is for all employees, for at least two months instead of one month, with an operating agreement for an extension at least three months is possible. More legal optimizations

So were agreed in the framework law, a number of optimizations, the workers will come inside as well as employers alike: the General medicine, benefit from an allowance increase from 450 GBP, now 500 GBP.

Furthermore, it was established in the collective agreement of a new Position: „The head of Service“ with service plan, Budget, and management responsibility will in future be made much better.

The so-called „backpack control“ was fixed in the context of this year’s negotiations for all employees of the Austrian Private hospitals. It regulates the transportation of time and funds. „The Association of Private hospitals, larger hospitals, such as smaller houses are equally represented. The more important it was for us to achieve for all employers, a result that is also economically feasible,“ says Mag. Günther concludes.

The Association of Private hospitals in Austria since 1953, the representation of interests for legal entities of private hospitals and has its own collective agreement ability. He represents one of the pillars of the Austrian health care system.
