Award for special contributions to women in Meidling

Vienna (OTS/SPW) – on the Occasion of women’s day, the SPÖ-women Meidling to present the Helene-Potetz-Mrs price to individuals or groups, special services to women in Meidling – it is through social Engagement, by improving the life or other projects for the promotion of women – characterized. A Jury, composed of Meidling from the fields of politics, economy and social Affairs, selects from among the submissions and a winner of the project.

Today, Thursday, is Like the price to 18.00 in the SPÖ Meidling, Ruckergasse 40 by culture councillor.a. Veronica Kaup-Hasler, District Chairman LAbg. Gabriele Mörk and by the Chairman of the SPÖ Meidling, Bezirksrätin Anna Bolovich presented.

This year’s winner of the Helene-Potetz-price is Sabine Schweizer, receives the prize for her voluntary involvement in the Association „Creative at work“. Sabine Swiss is a founding member of the Association „Creative at work“, including people who are homeless, plays Theater. The Association has set itself the Empowerment of marginal groups to the destination. The experience has shown that these work in the creative framework is an efficient method to assist people with mental and social problems. This new behavior to be opened strategies that contribute to the Success of everyday life.
