Three secure first 5G frequencies.

In the case of the 7. March 2019 ended auction for new 5G mobile radio frequencies in the range 3.4 to 3.8 GHz has acquired Hutchison Drei Austria 10 country-wide frequency blocks of about 100 MHz at a price of 51.9 million euros. Three turns, four new regional competitors.

The frequency of acquisition by four regional companies in the auction leads to an even more competitive Austrian mobile communications market. This intensive competition will provide Three.
