Fuel prices: Euro-super is around 18 cents per litre and Diesel by 13.1 cents per litre cheaper than in the EU average

Net prices: Austria, Euro super of 1.3 cents per litre and Diesel by 0.9 cents per litre below the EU average

Vienna (OTS) – The Federal Ministry for sustainability and the tourism price of the fuel Monitor of the European Commission, the fuel prices from 4. March will be compared to 2019 in Europe.

The average fuel prices at the gas station (gross prices including all duties and taxes) Euro-super 95 in Austria 1,189 euros per Liter and the average for all 28 EU member States, 1,369 Euro per Liter. The gross prices for Euro super is in Austria, to 18 cents per litre below the EU average. The gross prices for diesel fuel in Austria, 1,215 euros per Liter and in the EU average, 1,346 euros per Liter. The gross price of diesel fuel is therefore in Austria 13.1 cents per litre below the EU average.

The average net prices (prices without taxes and duties) for Euro-super 95 in Austria 0,497 Euro per Liter, and the EU average of 0.51 Euro per litre. The net price for Euro super is in Austria by 1.3 cents per litre below the EU average. The net prices for diesel fuel in Austria 0,603 Euro per litre on average in the EU 0,612 Euro per Liter. The net price of diesel fuel is therefore of 0.9 cents per litre below the EU average.
