Hietzing: artist talk with songs by Strauss

Vienna (OTS/RK) – „The Internationale Richard Strauss-Gesellschaft“ ask on Monday, 11. March, to an „artist conversation“ with the actor Peter Matic at the Amtshaus Hietzing (13., Hietzinger Kai 1-3). Interlocutor of the great mimes and Deklamators is the linguist and Opera connoisseur, Oswald Panagl. In the evening, Richard Strauss and Hugo von Hofmannsthal are in the focus, and Matics Work in Salzburg. This dialogue with songs and piano pieces by Strauss, is framed performed by baritone Michael Havlicek (Vienna people’s Opera) and pianist Stephanie Timoschek. The start of the event in the „Great hall“: from 19: 30. Admission is free. Donations from the audience will be requested. The cultural evening is organized by the „International Richard Strauss society“ in cooperation with the „Association of Salzburg in Vienna“.
