High-Tech Systems & Software explores short and simple high-tech success stories at the Romania Day on November 23 at the Romanian Embassy in Vienna
EMBASSY OF ROMANIA, PRINZ EUGEN STRASSE 60, VIENNA, AUSTRIA HOSTS “ROMANIAN DAY, SUCCESS STORIES HIGH TECH SHORT & SIMPLE”.
Almost a year after Romanias relations with Austria were severely affected by the Vienna governments refusal to support Romanias accession to the EUs Schengen area of free movement, commercial interests are once again at the forefront.
High-Tech Systems & Software (htss), a visionary Romanian company with more than 1,000 customers in 11 countries, offices in Bucharest and Iasi, and more than 400 employees, will participate in “Romanian Day, success stories high tech short & simple”. The event aims to present success stories, discuss economic diplomacy, the need to understand Romanian law as the key to success. A plea for normality in turbulent times.
“Romanian Day”, a traditional meeting, initiated in Vienna already since 2014, is today promoted by htss and hosted by the Romanian Embassy will feature a series of B2B meetings, including discussions on economic diplomacy, bringing together industry leaders, government representatives and potential business partners from Romania and Austria.
Among the distinguished guests of the event, under the patronage of HE Dr. Emil Hurezeanu, Ambassador of Romania to Austria, are Simona Pavelescu, CEO of htss, Romanian lawyer Gabriel Biriș and Austrian lawyer Markus Piuk, partner of Schoenherr, Vienna, Eng. Werner Braun, President of the German-speaking Economic Club of Brasov, tax expert Corneliu-Teofil Teaha, etc.
The theme of the event will focus on digitisation as the new paradigm of service provision within the EU, driven by technological progress and its influence on the legal rules applicable in both countries. Exploring the attraction of highly skilled human resources for Romania as well as existing cross-border collaborations, through which Romanian companies secure and strengthen their market positions within the EU, will complete the agenda of the meeting.
