Hail insurance: Ernst Karpfinger, Josef follows Pleil as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Ernst Karpfinger was unanimously elected new Supervisory Board Chairman. Karpfinger follows in this function, Dipl.-HLFL-Ing. Josef Pleil, who is 26 years of extremely successful this function.

To The Person Of Ernst Karpfinger

The 52-year-old from lower Austria Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Karpfinger is well connected in the agriculture, deep-rooted, as well as nationally and internationally. After high school, at the Francisco Josephinum in Wieselburg, he studied agricultural Economics at the University for soil culture in Vienna. After several professional stations, such as the agricultural market Austria and the Austrian Raiffeisen Association, the practicing farmer from Baumgarten was elected at the March, in the year 2005 to the President of the Association of Austrian beet farmers ‚ organisations. He represents them as Vice-President of the International Federation of European beet growers ‚CIBE‘. He is also represented in the Supervisory Board of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG as well as the LLI Leipnik Lunden Burg Invest-participation AG. In the Austrian hail insurance, he works since 15 years as a very dedicated Board member. He is married and the father of two children.
