New brochure „does me good. Tips for healthy Aging“

Vienna (OTS) – After the menopause, mental and physical needs change and the risk of (chronic) diseases is increasing. The brochure of the Vienna programme for women’s health, with the title „The good for me. Tips for healthy Aging“ is aimed at women in this age group, and was created with an Advisory Board of high-profile Experts. The contents range from screening, breast health, immunizations, heart health, Healthy waist circumference, Healthy metabolism, movement, Strong bones, Healthy bladder and mental well-being through to Mental Fitness and sexuality. Two further chapters are devoted to the topics of health information and the medical interview.

“Each month is dedicated to one area. We want to encourage women to actively take care of your health. We also provide assistance, such as with health information from a variety of sources to deal and how you can prepare for a conversation with a doctor of medicine well,” says Kristina Hametner, Director of the Vienna programme for women’s health.

“The promotion of health objectives are to old age and the promotion of health literacy of the Viennese two important Viennese health. With this brochure, the Viennese program for women’s health makes an important contribution to these two objectives, and also that women can be well informed and self-determined, healthy older,“ the castle of health, councillor Peter Hacker.
