Der ORF trauert um die frühere ORF-Korrespondentin Mathilde Schwabeneder, die in der Nacht auf Freitag im Alter von 69 Jahren nach langer Krankheit gestorben ist. Bekanntheit erlangte Schwabeneder vor allem als langjährige Korrespondentin in Rom und Leiterin des ORF-Büros, das für die Berichterstattung aus Italien, dem Vatikan und Malta zuständig war.
