Nicht nur das Nationalteam, auch das U17-Team des ÖFB schreibt gerade heimische Fußballgeschichte: Mit fünf Siegen bei nur einem Gegentor und zuletzt einem sensationellen 4:0 gegen England im Achtelfinale ist die Elf von Herrmann Stadler in Katar ins WM-Viertelfinale eingezogen. Dort wartet nun Japan – ORF 1 überträgt am Freitag, dem 21. November 2025, ab 13.20 Uhr live. Die Kommentatoren sind Daniel Warmuth und Roman Mählich.
