Elmayer is donating 30,000 euros to mercy house, and Plant-for-the-Planet

In the framework of the 99. Elmayer-Party on Shrove Tuesday in the Hofburg Palace, the two non-profit institutions received a total donation of more than 15.000,- Euro.

Vienna (OTS) – For nearly a century, the Elmayer-Party provides for the culmination of the Vienna ball season. Waltz dance and plant trees

Started Plant-for-the-Planet, with a unit of the Bavarian pupil Felix Finkbeiner in 2007 – today, this crops is a global movement with a large target: around the world trees to combat the climate crisis. The ball program: engaging and memorable!

The biggest by far is the opening of the Committee of Austria with 250 pairs under the direction of Peter Leitner made in Conjunction with the Elmayer Viennese waltz formation for the festive beginning of one of the numerous highlights peppered the ball in the evening. So soprano Maria Nazarova, a member of the ensemble of the Wiener Staatsoper enthusiastic about, with Solo vocal performances, as well as Tamiko Suzuki, Johannes Gajdosik and the Standard and Latin formations, among other things, the sixth of the 2018 world Cup in Latin formation dance – all former pupils of the dance school Elmayer, with demonstrations of their skills. The extremely popular public quadrille, led by host Thomas Schäfer-Elmayer – for a particularly exuberant mood, went to 23:00 on the stage. The musical accompaniment for this worthy culmination of the ball season in 2019 was contributed by the salon orchestra and the Big Band of the guard music in Vienna, Euro Five and a Tasty Tune, and the event load.

The „house of mercy“-group

The non-profit mercy house provides hard-to-patient people, long-term care with quality of life. In seven care hospitals and homes for the elderly in Vienna and lower Austria, we serve continuously to around 1200 geriatric and chronically ill residents. In our 15 residential communities, four Basal day centres and in the ZAB (centre for work and encounter), we support around 400 younger Clients with multiple disabilities. In addition to the best possible nursing and medical care, we place special emphasis on a self-determined and varied everyday.
