WELS, Austria – May 6, 2026 – Interzoo in Nuremberg, which takes place
every two years, is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the global
pet industry. This year, it will be held from May 12 to 15. Ahead of the
trade fair, the Interzoo Sustainability Conference on sustainability in
the pet industry will take place on May 11.
REPLOID Group AG (“REPLOID”) will participate in Interzoo in several ways:
May 11: Interzoo Sustainability Conference – Table Discussion
Ronald Mitterndorfer, Director RFU Sales at REPLOID, and Richard Poulsen
will present the 3D model of a REPLOID ReFarmUnit during a roundtable
session. The ReFarmUnits are decentralized, modular, and highly automated
insect-rearing plants. The larvae serve as a replacement for, or
supplement to, conventional animal feed. The larvae’s byproducts are also
utilized: they form the basis for REPLOID’s organic fertilizer.
May 14: Presentation “From Food Side Streams to Functional Pet Nutrition”

Paul van der Raad, Director of Global Petfood at REPLOID, will present how
modern insect farming can connect functional pet nutrition, the circular
economy, and resilient local supply chains around the world. This creates
value for food companies, pet food producers, farmers, retailers, pet
owners, and ultimately for pets themselves.
