New members of the aspern Advisory Board

Behavior biologist Elisabeth Oberzaucher and architect Andreas Kleboth new to the Team, the quality assurance body of aspern Vienna’s urban lakeside.

Vienna (OTS) – Vienna, 8. March 2019 – Vienna’s largest urban development area of the claim, the requirements of the lifestyle of the 21st century. Elisabeth Oberzaucher and Andreas Kleboth to boost the six-member Advisory Board and solve the long-standing members of the Angelika Fitz and Oliver Schulze.

New arrival Elisabeth Oberzaucher is a behavioural biologist with a research focus on human-environment interactions and non-verbal communication – and known to many as a member of the Austrian science cabaret troupe, Science Busters. As the scientific Director of the research project Urban Human in Vienna, she deals intensively with questions of inner-city life. “The seaside town represents, with its record construction period and in particular also a social challenge. New forms of urban life are to be found, and through the involvement of residents in the district, the design of social sustainability is to be achieved. Innovative concepts in the areas of mobility and energy, as well as digitisation, social Affairs and housing be implemented here. I am pleased to now be a part of this process,“ says Elisabeth Oberzaucher.

New in the aspern Advisory Board Andreas Kleboth. As an architect and urban planner he has worked for 25 years with urban issues, among other things, he researched and taught at the University of Innsbruck. He is the managing Director of the architecture and city planning offices, Kleboth, and Dollnig, with offices in Linz, Vienna and Innsbruck. In the aspern Advisory Board has also the function of the Deputy Chairman accepted and justified it this way: “what impresses Me is the lakeside city, the Vision of a new city of the 21st century. Century consistently and comprehensively implemented. For example: the connection of Living and Working finally make it back to the urban matter of course. In the Council, I’ll contribute to the many present urban planning ideas to be implemented on an ongoing basis.“
